Example Of Present Continuous Tense Part-2
INTRODUCTION
To understand this blog must read what is INDEFINITE. In the EXAMPLE OF PRESENT CONTINUOUS tense, you will learn about action, situation, or condition that is occurring now, consequently, and carrying on into the future as well. In other words, ANYTHING WHICH IS GOING ON.
EXAMPLE OF PRESENT CONTINUOUS TENSE (POSITIVE)
The PRESENT CONTINUOUS is all about anything as I told you above which is continuous or which is going on in present. Moreover, we have to use IS/AM/ARE+V1+ING, In other words, IS with SINGULAR, ARE with PLURAL, and AM with I subject.
FOR EXAMPLE:-
SINGULAR – 1. P) A Fan Is moving
2. P) She Is dancing.
3. P) He Is fighting.
4. P) Meena is preparing tea.
5. P) He is coming today.
PLURAL – 1. P) They Are riding bicycles.
2. P) I Am cooking.
3. P) We Are going to market.
4. P) You are leaving from home.
5. P) Raveena and Meena are visiting the park.
EXAMPLE OF PRESENT CONTINUOUS TENSE (NEGATIVE)
Now we will make these above sentences in NEGATIVE:-
SINGULAR – 1. N) A fan Is not moving.
2. N) She Is not dancing.
3. N) He Is not fighting.
4. N) Meena Is not preparing tea.
5. N) He Is not coming today.
PLURAL – N) They Are not riding bicycles.
2. N) I Am not cooking.
3. N) We Are not going to market.
4. N) You are not leaving from home.
5. N) Raveena and Meena are not visiting the park.
EXAMPLE OF PRESENT CONTINUOUS TENSE (INTERROGATIVE)
Let’s make these above sentences in INTERROGATIVE:-
SINGULAR – 1. I) Is a fan moving?
2. I) Is she dancing?
3. I) Is he fighting?
4. I) Is meena preparing tea?
5. I) Is he coming today?
PLURAL – I) Are They riding bicycles?
2. I) Am I cooking?
3. I) Are we going to market?
4. I) Are you leaving from home?
5. I) Are Raveena and Meena visiting the park?
EXAMPLE OF PRESENT CONTINUOUS TENSE (INTERROGATIVE NEGATIVE)
Now we will make these above sentences in INTERROGATIVE NEGATIVE:-
SINGULAR – 1. IN) Is not a fan moving?
2. IN) Is not she dancing?
3. IN) Is not he fighting?
4. IN) Is not meena preparing tea?
5. IN) Is not he coming today?
PLURAL – IN) Are not They riding bicycles?
2. IN) Am not I cooking?
3. IN) Are not we going to market?
4. IN) Are not you leaving from home?
5. IN) Are not Raveena and Meena visiting the park?
PAST CONTINUOUS TENSE (POSITIVE, NEGATIVE, INTERROGATIVE, AND INTERROGATIVE NEGATIVE)
The PAST CONTINUOUS is all about the ANYTHING which WAS GOING ON IN PAST. Similarly, we have to use WAS/WERE+V1+ING, In other words, WAS with SINGULAR, WERE with PLURAL and I also use WAS. Furthermore, we will turn all these present continuous examples into the past and follow all the rules in Positive, Negative, Interrogative, and Interrogative Negative.
FOR EXAMPLE:-
SINGULAR –
1. P) A fan Was moving.
- N) A fan Was not moving.
- I) Was a fan moving?
- IN) Was not a fan moving?
2. P) I Was cooking.
2. N) I Was not cooking.
2. I) Was I cooking?
2. IN) Was not I cooking?
3. P) He was fighting.
3. N) He was not fighting.
3. I) Was he fighting?
3. IN) Was not he fighting?
4. P) Meena was preparing tea.
4. N) Meena was not preparing tea.
4 I) Was meena preparing tea?

PLURAL –

FUTURE CONTINUOUS TENSE (POSITIVE, NEGATIVE, INTERROGATIVE, AND INTERROGATIVE NEGATIVE)
The FUTURE CONTINUOUS is all about IMAGINATION and the SOMETHING which WILL BE GOING ON IN PAST. Similarly, we have to use WILL BE+V1+ING, In other words, you can use WILL BE with BOTH SINGULAR+PLURAL. Moreover, it’s time to turn the given examples into future continuous.
Similarly future is always based on imagination we always imagine our next action, situation and work in present. In addition to this future does not have any guarantee regarding completion of action or work.
FOR EXAMPLE:-
SINGULAR –
1. P) A fan Will be moving.
- N) A fan Will not be moving.
- I) Will a fan be moving?
- IN) Will not a fan be moving?
2. P) I Will be cooking.
2. N) I Will not be cooking.
2. I) Will I be cooking?

3. P) He will be fighting.
3. N) He will not be fighting.
3. I) Will he be fighting?

Always use BE AFTER THE SUBJECT IN INTERROGATIVE AND INTERROGATIVE NEGATIVE you cannot use BE immediately after WILL for example – WILL BE I COOKING – this sentence is wrong.

The past continuous is all about the work or action which was going on. for example – he was riding his bicycle.
There are only 3 types of continuous tense in English – PRESENT CONTINUOUS, PAST CONTINUOUS AND FUTURE CONTINUOUS.
The rule of present continuous is – sub+is/am/are+v1+ing+obj.
IS with singular subjects, ARE with plural and AM with I.
The present continuous tense is all about the work or action which is going on in present. for example – Meena is cooking food and we are talking with each other.
The continuous tense is three types present continuous – the work which is going on. example – Ram is going to school. Past continuous – the work which was going on. example – Ram was going to school. Future continuous – the work which will be going on. example – Ram will be going to school.
We use future continuous tense is all about the work which will be going on. Every future is base don your imagination.
